More than just bridges

Whilst establishing the three bridges, the reconstruction of complex pipe and cable networks that run along the side of the road and therefore into the bridges, have to be taken into account. These include everything from water and sewer pipes to electricity and data cables.

The three bridges will all have an average height of 1,60 metres and they will allow for sufficient water-flow to ensure the quality of the water in the canals.

Traffic in the Canal city

Occupants in the canal city will continue to be able to drive back and forth from their residence with temporary routes. These routes will be clearly assisted with signs.

Walking and cycling will still be accessible during construction.
